End of the year

Craft time! I get to do my stuff and they (Adelaide) works beside me the whole time. Caelan just wants me to look at every little thing he does.

I've been trying to do more intentional things with my kids. Caelan makes it hard because he has the attention span of a 3 month old. Adelaide could do crafts forever! Which is fabulous! Here are our "gingerbread houses". Caelan just ate his.

This girl is always messing and her hair makes me so happy because it's curly (what?) and just crazy all the time. She is so silly.

She gets her picture taken so often that she knows to say "cheese". That's what she is saying here. She is so wonderful and sweet and smart. I love everything about her.

Caelan did swimming lessons and we put him in Level 1 and he passed that his first day and past level 2! He is so great and wonderful and so so sweet and loving and SO strong. He eats like a horse a too. I love everything about this boy.
This BEAUTIFUL girl is so strong willed and knows exactly what she wants. She will be very successful in life. She has so much expression that you are never left wondering what she is thinking. She is also very sweet and thanks me for every meal and tells me she loves me all the time. I love everything about this powerful girl.

This little girl is a joy and delight. She is ALWAYS smiling and eating. she is starting to pull herself up on EVERYTHING and I think will be an early walker. She loves to be right in the middle of everything Caelan and Adelaide are doing which drives them crazy but keeps her happy. She hardly ever wants to be held anymore she just wants to explore. This summer will be interesting since she isn't walking yet. She'll just have to wear knee pads or something.

Adelaide Grace

This girl knows what she wants and is quick to tell you what you want as well. She is the most expressive girl in the world, as you will see from these pictures. She is a lot of fun and loves to laugh. She is VERY clumsy and always has bruises and scrapes. She also doesn't usually let someone leave with giving her a hug and kiss on the lips. I love this little one and anticipate many a yelling match in my very near future.

Caelan

This boy is one of my favorites. He is so sweet and sooooooooooooo crazy and so adventurous. Today he told me he loves me more than a lamp loves it's light. He also told me he wants a brother so he would have someone to battle with all the time. These pictures pretty much sum him up in the last couple of months. I WILL be broke when he is in High School. He eats just as much as Nathan now.... what will it be like in 10 years?!?!?!?

Me and My Love

I realized we didn't have many pictures of just Nathan and I so we had a photo shoot when we had a date night. Here's what we got.

Sleep?

I have not been this tired in a REALLY long time. Last night I tried to go to bed for 4 1/2 hours. Climbed in bed at 10 so happy and ready for sleep. Between Adelaide and Evy I didn't get to fall asleep until 2:30 and even then Evy was in my bed with me. TERRIBLE! Nathan got home at 1 am and I just started crying. "I've been trying to go to sleep forever!" It took another hour and half before Evy came into our bed and nathan fell asleep in Laidy's bed. What is happening? Please end! This night is not out of the ordinary. I'm not a nice person when I'm tired. Sorry if I've been mean to you.

Don't and I love you

My sweet Evelyn

My sweet, sweet girl. She is just the best. She gives me smiles all day long and sleeps so good at night. She is just happy and content and when I need a moment to collect myself during the day I usually take Evy into a different room and just chat with her. She brings me such joy. I love her just so much!

Terrible or Terrific Two?

It's been so fun to hear Adelaide talking more and mainly just copying anything that Caelan does or says. There are just so many terrific things about her.... but they call them the terrible twos for a reason. I'd like to blame it on the fact that she has her molars coming in or there are a lot of transitions right now (moved into Caelan's room, no pacifier, potty training) but there has been an attitude change. I just have to remind myself that I made it through with Caelan and there is more sweetness to come. I just have a hard time being patient and loving with her when yells "NO!" at me when I ask her to do anything.

Update

So Lu and Evy had dr appointments today so I thought it would be a good time to update.

Evy is 4 months old. She has been rolling over for a few weeks now both directions. She isn't doing it all the time but she has done both lots of times. She loves to sit in her jumperoo thing and watch her busy busy siblings just content to watch. She is such a happy content baby and I love her. She is 16 pounds and 26 inches long. (95%ile)

Lucy Lu is 2! Crazy. She tells everyone she is 5 and doesn't believe anyone when they tell her otherwise. She knows what she wants and isn't shy about telling it. She is clumsy as ever and never stops talking. She loves to sing and dance and try her hardest to keep up with her brother. She is just a little trouble maker and I love her. She is 28 pounds and 33 inches (70th for weight and 25 for height).

Caelan is 3. He loves taking care of his little sisters. He carries Adelaide around all the time and likes to tell her what she can and can't do. He said he wants to be a teacher when he grows up because he is so good at teaching his sisters. He has been very interesting in letters and reading lately. He says all the time that he wants to be like a grown up. Is is sweet and cuddly and hates to be alone and I love him. A few month ago he was 46 pounds and I don't remember how tall. 100 for height and 120th for weight. BIG kid.
