Laidy Grace turns 3!

A little out of order but here are the pictures from her "official" birthday party. She had many. : ) Adelaide has surprised me a little bit this year. I'm learning that she is a lot like her dad. Once I figured that out things have been going a lot better. Caelan is like me so I understand him but Adelaide has taken me a little bit. She needs a lot of alone time or time where she can do activities on her own. She loves art and using her brain. She LOVES puzzles and is so good and fast at them. Anytime that she needs to be using her hands to create or her brain like reading and doing puzzles she is so happy. SO opposite from Caelan. She is lovely and I love her so much. She is turning into quite the little lady.

Evy loves getting her picture taken. She is just so good at smiling for the camera... Caelan needs some practice. : )

Would everyone had eaten the cake if they knew this is what happened to it while it was being made?

The sweetest boy ever

My Caelan is just so sweet. Adelaide has been really sick and missed her birthday because she was so sick. Today he set a surprise part for her while she was sleeping and when she woke up still feeling really sick he set a place for her on the couch and went to get her blanket. He is now sitting next to her singing her princess songs. She has a huge smile on her face even though her nose is dripping and her eyes are drooping.

My week so far

Sunday night: 2/3 kids vomiting on ALL the blankets we have

Monday: Take Evy to get an ultra sound on her hernia- thought it was something worse and had to go back for a second one that afternoon... everything's fine

Tuesday: Was a snow day. We had fun sledding and drinking hot chocolate

Wednesday: Our garage floods.........

Saturday: rain

Sunday: snow

Crazy crazy week. The thing to top it off would be my client having her baby tonight. It would add to the craziness but at least it's a new life coming into the world and that always makes me happy.

At least I have these guys to make me happy. Caelan stole my phone and called aunt heather and Evy stole my ipod and pretended to talk too. Adelaide of course makes me happy too she just didn't make it into this picture.

End of the year

Craft time! I get to do my stuff and they (Adelaide) works beside me the whole time. Caelan just wants me to look at every little thing he does.

I've been trying to do more intentional things with my kids. Caelan makes it hard because he has the attention span of a 3 month old. Adelaide could do crafts forever! Which is fabulous! Here are our "gingerbread houses". Caelan just ate his.

This girl is always messing and her hair makes me so happy because it's curly (what?) and just crazy all the time. She is so silly.

She gets her picture taken so often that she knows to say "cheese". That's what she is saying here. She is so wonderful and sweet and smart. I love everything about her.

Caelan did swimming lessons and we put him in Level 1 and he passed that his first day and past level 2! He is so great and wonderful and so so sweet and loving and SO strong. He eats like a horse a too. I love everything about this boy.
This BEAUTIFUL girl is so strong willed and knows exactly what she wants. She will be very successful in life. She has so much expression that you are never left wondering what she is thinking. She is also very sweet and thanks me for every meal and tells me she loves me all the time. I love everything about this powerful girl.

This little girl is a joy and delight. She is ALWAYS smiling and eating. she is starting to pull herself up on EVERYTHING and I think will be an early walker. She loves to be right in the middle of everything Caelan and Adelaide are doing which drives them crazy but keeps her happy. She hardly ever wants to be held anymore she just wants to explore. This summer will be interesting since she isn't walking yet. She'll just have to wear knee pads or something.
